My blood pressure is over the top after trying to deal with Plumbers Surplus customer service!! They have a mistake on their website and just because I has a little over their 30 day return policy, they refuse to do anything for me!! Customer service even acknowledged that they had false information on their website which led me to buy the WRONG size spice rack and they still REFUSED to let me return or exchange it!!! That should be illegal!!!

"I purchased some Moen replacement parts... 5 handle adapters for several faucets in the house. I wish I had used another company! PlumberSurplus sent me "5 Milwaukee sawsall blades" instead of the 5 handle adapters. I called to see if they could help and I received the worst customer service ever! The girl who answered the phone was very unprofessional, non-chalant and geniunely unconcerned. I did a little research and PlumberSurplus is a dropshipper for a company called YourOtherWarehouse.com. I called YourOtherWarehouse for some resolution, and the customer service there is pretty bad as well. YourOtherWarehouse.com can be reached by phone at 212-215-9634. Call YOW.com for assistance with PlumberSurplus! Watch out for the other websites owned by PlumberSurplus.com... OutdoorPros.com is probably not much better!!!

Don't buy from this scaming website. We ordered irrigation cover plats with the exact same model # but the dimensions were off so we had to return them. Not only did they charge a ridiculous shipping charge but we had to pay to return the items plus they kept 20% restocking fee.. Bulls##! They don't tell you that there is a restocking fee when you buy the crap!

Ordered 2 Kohler sinks. Neither shipped out same day as promised on website. One sink arrived in six days. That sink was dropped off by UPS by WALKING THRU MY OPEN GARAGE and leaving it at back door with no announcement

This is the worst online company I have ever dealt with. The second attempt of deliver resulted in receiving a previously returned product that was missing all the hardware to assemble. Customer support's response was to put it on me to contact the original vendor to get the replacement parts that they "plumbers supply" didn't send. It was bad enough to receive a used product but then to be told to to get the missing parts myself was unbelievable!

This company does not stand behind it's product description. I ordered a pedestal sink and only received the sink. When I pointed out that the pedestal was listed under the product specifications, they told me that what that meant was that the sink was compatible with a pedestal. WHAT???? I found their customer support condescending and dismissive when I tried to direct them to descriptions of other models where it clearly states that the pedestal must be ordered separately.

BUYER BEWARE!! Vendor don't allow you to cancel your order, and when you do? You not only have to pay for shipping back, but also pay 20% restocking fee AND original shipping fees. This is case when I cancelled my order that has NOT left the warehouse (system record shows this), but product was still shippped out!

I agree with most on this site!!Plumber Surplus is a TERRIBLE company!! I ordered this faucet after calling to ensure that it was in stock. I was assured that it was. They immediately took money fromj my credit card, but a week later I received an email stating that they part was back ordered 3 months!!

I ordered a backflow preventer part a week ago and it has not yet arrived. I wrote customer service and asked if they would refund me the difference between the 3 day select shipping that I paid for and the cost of standard shipping. I received an email from that did not even acknowledge my question; they simply told me that my order had shipped. I will not order from them again.

I ordered my part from plumbersurplus.com because they had the item in stock. They were more expensive, but promised to ship in "2-4 days". Several WEEKS after placing my order they sent me a note explaining that they never had the part, that they just then placed an order with the manufacturer, and that I could not cancel my order once they placed the order with the manufacturer.
I told them I either needed an arrival date or I would cancel payment. Instead of responding, they waited another three weeks to tell me my order was canceled and I could place a new order if I wanted. During that time I didn't know what they were doing or whether I should place my order with anyone else. They cost me a huge amount of time (and money as a result of their delays). Their site openly lies about parts availability as well as delivery times. Their customer service is poor and they get aggitated if you request any information about your order. Oh, and their prices aren't the best. A truly horrible experience by any measure that matters. Awful doesn't cover it. |

Awful experience. I ordered a faucet for a kitchen remodel and decided to select a different style. When the order was recieved I requested a return authorization number and sent the product back in two weeks. According to their policy you have TEN days after you request the number to ship your return. Because I was four days late, they refused to accept my return. In addition, it took them two months to send the package back to me. Now I have a $100 faucet that I can't use and have to sell on ebay AND I'm out the shipping for the return. Thanks for nothing, plumbersurplus!

I ordered an inexpensive buzzer on 02/15/2009.
It never arrived. UPS says they left it at the door. While I tried to clean up that mess, I ordered another. That did arrive. Re the undelivered buzzer, UPS will only deal with Plumbersurplus. Plumbersurplus will not refund - they say it was signed for. I asked Plumbersurplus to pursue my claim with UPS. They said they would - on 05/18/2009 This month, 08/2009, I have followed up with them numerous times. I only receive a canned acknowledgement but no reply. I talked with UPS on 08/12/2009. They said the package was not signed for - that that was not required. They also said they have never heard from Plumbersurplus. This is bordering on theft. |

The product came very quickly; however, I must have ordered the wrong escutcheon. I am not sure what happened. I do not know whether the picture on the web site was incorrect or whether I put down the wrong product number. I called as soon as I received the product. The person was very nice and told me I would be contacted via e-mail by the returns department and given an RA number to return the product. This was about a week ago and I have not yet been contacted. I may have to call again.

Ordered Delta shower faucet and valve body for rough-in in early Feb 09. Credit card charged within a few minutes of order. Got email that item not in stock but would be in 2 to 3 weeks maybe. That was a tip off that bad things would happen. Valve body rough-in arrived in early march but not the Trim/faucet. Requested new delivery date. They emailed me the exact same message that before stated 2 to 3 week slip. Not sure I will ever see it. If not delivered in next 2 to 3 weeks will try to cancel and see what happens. In mean time having my daughter who lives in Cal. and works for the state look into this company.

My experience was a comedy of errors only I don't find getting treated this badly very funny. My order was so botched I finally had to cancel but not before getting run around for over a week, ignored, and finally hung up on. You might save a few bucks here but the processing limbo and terrible service is hardly worth the odds. Never again.

I ordered a Moen T2703 Level trim kit for bath/shower and paid extra for second day air shipping as I was in the middle of a bathroom make-over and the merchandise was needed quickly. Total cost $127. After 5 days I contacted plumbersurplus.com to inquire on the whereabouts of my order and to request reimbursement of the extra money for second day air shipping. I was told that my address didn't exist according to the information that UPS had provided them, which is a joke: UPS delivers to my door nearly daily. I requested the item be sent again, but it never showed up. I contacted plumbersurplus.com several times to get my merchandise or my money back, but was only met with stalling tactics. I decided to contact my credit card company about this failed transaction, and almost simultaneously my account was credited by half the amount that I had spent: $63. Obviously, someone was trying to make me go away. I tried unsuccessfully to contact the company again several times, but none of my emails received a reply anymore.
I feel that I have to warn anyone not to deal with this company. It strongly appears to be a rip-off enterprise. |

I had a question on the specs of the faucets I bought and was unable to bring them up. The merchant had a online msg service that I was able to use to email. They responded quickly and even tho they did not have the information I wanted, they were able to supply me with the manufacturers direct number so I was a ble to phone them for the information. Disappointed, I ordered anyway. After ordering, I checked (and continue to check everyday) the status of my shipment, and find the product is still "BACKORDERED", even though I was told it was IN STOCK.
